POLYNESIAN CULTURAL CENTER SAYS MAHALO TO KAMAAINA AND GUESTS WITH THE HAWAIIAN HOLIDAY JAM

BET and Opihi Pickers Perform at Concert on December 10

Laie:
Just in time for the holidays, the Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC) is offering a concert on December 10 as its gift of thanks to kamaaina and guests for their support in 2004.  The show will feature popular local entertainers BET and the Opihi Pickers in a concert that promises to keep the North Shore rocking on into the night.

BET will start the show at 8 p.m. in the PCC’s Hale Aloha Theater, followed at 9:30 p.m. by the Opihi Pickers.  The amphitheater setting guarantees everyone can see the fun no matter where they are seated.

“We are excited to offer this concert to say mahalo to the surrounding community for supporting us all year long,” said Alfred Grace, PCC Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Tickets are just $8.00 for adults, $6.00 for kids ages 3-11, and PCC kamaaina annual pass holders get in free.  Call 293-3333 for more information or to book reservations. Visit www.Polynesia.com to learn more about what’s new at the PCC.

Founded in 1963 as a non-profit organization, the PCC has entertained more than 31 million visitors, while preserving and portraying the culture, arts, and crafts of Polynesia to the rest of the world.  In addition, the PCC has provided financial assistance to 14,000 young people from over 70 different countries while they attend Brigham Young University-Hawaii.  As a non-profit organization, 100 percent of PCC’s revenue is used for daily operations and to support education.
